Why I Cant Upload Microsoft Word Documents Into Job Applications
No reason I tin think of.
Only to confirm. You create a document, like a resume, salve information technology to your Hard disk drive equally a DOCX. Then you endeavour to attach the DOCX to an Outlook (?) or Gmail email and information technology fails? The only manner you can attach it is past converting it to a PDF format?

Exactly how are you trying to practice this "upload"?

And assuming MS Outlook is configured with your mail account, with Word, that dr. open up, File>Share>Email.....that doesn't and then open an outlook new msg window with that doc attached?

If you are trying to submit the Give-and-take certificate to a site and that fails, the reason is likely that the site doesn't accept *.docx files. Y'all volition have to choose PDF (and it may be for the best, anyhow, if the document isn't supposed to be edited further).

I don't call back that is information technology although I capeesh your help.
Prior to my upgrades I was e'er able to upload Microsoft word files - with no bug whatsoever. I am not trying to send a document to gmail using the ship feature. In gmail I am saying "attach a file" and then I am going to windows explorer, finding my certificate and trying to insert it into the email. It doesn't work.
Sorry, but your response, I remember, isn't working for my problem but again I really capeesh your trying. I practice.

So, when I try to send it via an email with gmail I click on the "adhere" icon in gmail and it takes me to my documents directory and I select the item to attach. It doesn't attach the certificate in gmail.
When I am trying to upload (again these would be multiple portals (usually business employment application portals) information technology tells me to upload - I button the "scan button - it tin be a select file push button too" and it takes me to my documents directory on my HD. I select the file, say okay and it doesn't appear in the portal. If it is a PDF it does merely the portal says it volition take a DOCX along with other types of files.
It works when I want to use gmail with Firefox/Mozilla but not gmail.
Information technology works (the attaching effort) when I use Outlook.

I found information technology disruptive when I read your statement, "Information technology works when I want to use gmail with Firefox/Mozilla simply not gmail." Does that mean that Firefox works simply non Google's browser? The latter I take never tried, but I think it is called Chrome, not "gmail."

I'm sorry I wasn't articulate - my fault.
I meant when I use a Mozilla browser and use gmail. I can adhere a give-and-take document to gmail then. When I utilise Edge as my browser and gmail I am not able to attach a word document to gmail.

Have you lot tried this with the Google Chrome browser as well. The Edge browser isn't doing all the things the Internet Explorer browser previously did, but this seems foreign. What exactly happens when you lot endeavor? Are you getting an Error Message when information technology fails?

What happens when you are in the New Bulletin item with Gmail in Edge and you click on the Attach files button then select a .docx file to be attached to the message?

Many people have reported various "compatibility" bug with Border. Apparently it is improving, but still "stuff happens". I would guess that is what is happening between Border and Gmail. In theory, it will be stock-still, "eventually".
In the eighty'south there was an industry wide joke that MS would not release a new version of DOS until they had plant some style of breaking competitor software, particularly Lotus 1-2-3. Back and so Lotus and WordPerfect had lxxx-ninety% of their respective markets. Word and Excel weren't even in the running.
